Fragrance Foundation Reference Guide
The Fragrance Foundation has published the 22nd edition
of the Reference Guide, the industry's most valued fragrance
identification resource. Every year, the Reference Guide
is revised by the Foundation, and it contains the industry's
most up-to-date listing of fragrances available in the
United States at the time of publication. Over 1,100
fragrances are recorded, along with their dates of introduction
and descriptions, where available.
In addition to the easy-to-use fragrance name index,
a company index is also included to help facilitate
the identification of parent companies of the many fragrance
company divisions. Published by The Fragrance Foundation
(New York, 2001), this is the most complete guide of
fragrances for perfumers, dealers, stores and everybody
who loves fragrance. Copies of the Reference Guide are
available from the Foundation, $75 for members and $90
for non-members.

Fragrances
of the World 2001
Michael Edwards, author of Perfume Legends, has recently
introduced the newest edition of Fragrances of the World.
The 2001 edition puts 2,695 fragrances at your fingertips,
and includes more than 300 new fragrances. It is a guide
for anyone who loves fragrance, dedicated to the simple
idea that discovering fragrances should be a pleasure,
not a problem.
Fragrances of the World 2001 is the only guide to match
women's and men's fragrances, family by family. It includes
color images by Isamu Sawa, who brings the 12 fragrance
families to life. The classifications are checked with
the perfumers and the Houses, and the guide includes
niche fragrances from boutique perfumers as well as
long-gone fragrances that people still ask for.
